The short version

• You can browse MyWeekendly without an account.
• We don't sell your personal data — ever.
• Preferences (country, saved places) live in your own browser's local storage.
• We use lightweight analytics to know which pages are useful.

What we collect

When you visit the site, our hosting provider logs the usual web request data (IP address, user-agent, requested page). If you create an account or save a trip, we store the email and the trip data you submit. Saved trips and favourites are kept in your browser's local storage by default and only sync to our backend when you sign in.

Location

On first visit we make a one-time approximate country lookup from your IP address to suggest a starting country (e.g. Canada vs. Nigeria). You can change it at any time and we never store the precise location. Map / "use my location" features only run when you tap the button and grant permission.

Cookies & analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand traffic patterns in aggregate. No advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking pixels.

Your choices

Clear your browser storage to wipe local preferences. Email hello@myweekendly.com to request deletion of any account-linked data. We respond within 30 days.
